Make sure to lock your horse stall doors in the barn and do not allow him to just stand there under the sun. Should you really want to ride with your horse under the heat, do not ride him for too long. You should also wet your horse every now and then with cool water and also bug juice. Also provide clean and adequate water for him to drink. Never feed your horse with grain during the heat of the day as this can easily heat him up.
